Dropping, Canvas. Imago Mundi

Imago Mundi, One Month, 10,000,000 drops of water leaked from the water system.
For the project Imago Mundi, specifically for “Kurdistan - In-Between Worlds,” I was chosen as a contemporary Kurdish artist and provided with a 10x12cm canvas to create an artwork. I discovered several tanks in the city’s water system that were leaking, with drops of water coming from various locations. I positioned the canvas beneath one leak for one month, and by estimation, I calculated that around ten million drops struck the canvas at its centre during that time.
